Tobias S. is a dual studies students at the KRÜGER GROUP. Tobias S. grew up with the KRÜGER GROUP, so to speak. From his school, it was only 400 meters as the crow flies to the factory in Bergisch Gladbach. That’s why he had the smell of cocoa or coffee in his nose every day – no wonder it led him here after the end of his school career.
After graduating from high school, I did a three-month internship at the Bergisch Gladbach site and then applied for a training position as an industrial clerk and was accepted.
In 2018, I started a dual study program with a focus on business administration. Before that, I successfully completed the two-and-a-half-year training as an industrial clerk.
After my apprenticeship, I wanted to stay in the company and continue my education. In a conversation with a former student here at the Bergisch Gladbach site, I heard about the possibility of a dual study program – that sounded exciting. That is why, after talking to the people in charge, I decided to follow this path as well. I like the mix of theory and practice. I can continue to work in the company three days a week and attend courses at the university in Cologne on the remaining two days.

In my current position in instant products sales for Krüger GmbH & Co. KG I am responsible for order processing and shipping to our customers in Eastern Europe. I have direct contact with people there every day.

I am currently concentrating entirely on the successful completion of my bachelor’s degree. After that I would like to stay in sales, but “whatever will be, will be”, as they say. In any case, I want to stay with the KRÜGER GROUP because I get on very well with my colleagues and enjoy my work very much.
