Through training and joint projects in the growing regions, we make a long-term contribution to improving productivity, which allows us to improve the income situation and the living conditions of the cocoa farmers. It goes without saying that the KRÜGER GROUP observes fair working conditions and ensures sustainable production. Complex certifications prove that we take good care of our producers and employees on site.
After the first quality control in the area of origin, the further processing of the raw cocoa starts at Fuchs & Hoffmann. Thanks to our own product development, we design recipes that are specially tailored to market and customer requirements.
In multi-stage processes, the cocoa beans are turned into cocoa and chocolate products for subsequent processing within the KRÜGER GROUP and at numerous well-known food producers. These include cocoa mass, nibs, and semi-finished chocolate products as well as cocoa butter and powder for the production of renowned end products.
With the construction of the most modern cocoa factory in the world, we have increased capacity by 100% and can offer our customers even more diverse cocoa products.
The entire production process includes regular tests and sensory controls in our own laboratory: a guarantee and the perfect basis for first-class chocolate bars, pralines, fillings, spreads, and drinks.
Thanks to our strategic orientation, we are independent of prevailing market situations. This enables us to guarantee consistently high cocoa quality, which is a long-term advantage for our partners and customers that we are particularly proud of.
The raw cocoa that is processed into semi-finished cocoa products by Fuchs & Hoffmann in Bexbach comes mainly from sustainable cultivation. It is regularly inspected on site and is 80% certified (UTZ, Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance).
Through the founding of SUSCOM, a subsidiary of Fuchs & Hoffmann, in the Ivory Coast and Liberia, we work directly with the cocoa cooperatives and continuously promote social projects to improve living and working conditions.
