Sustainability
Our Sustainability Strategy
Sustainability is an integral part of our business operations and is considered throughout the value chain.
We consider ecological, social and business aspects throughout our value chain and continuously develop our approaches. In doing so, we are guided by clear structures, defined responsibilities and regularly reviewed analyses. Our goal is to systematically integrate sustainable developments into our business processes and present them transparently.
Sustainability Governance
Responsibility for sustainability lies with the management. A central sustainability team develops the group-wide strategy and coordinates cross-functional measures. In the group companies, sustainability officers implement the measures and supplement them with site-specific topics. Regular exchange takes place via a group-wide sustainability community.
KRÜGER GROUP pursues an integrative approach: instead of addressing sustainability topics in isolation within a single department, the experts from the respective specialist areas are involved, and sustainable development is driven forward equally by all.

Materiality Analysis
KRÜGER GROUP regularly conducts materiality analyses to identify relevant sustainability topics. The following topics are currently in focus:
E1 Climate change
E4 Biodiversity and ecosystems
E5 Resource use and circular economy
S1 Own workforce
S2 Workers in the value chain
G1 Governance
These can be assigned to the areas of environment, social and corporate governance. The analysis is regularly reviewed and updated.
