Milchwerke Mittelelbe has been part of the KRÜGER GROUP since 1991.
As a specialist in the manufacture of powders and ready-to-drink products, the product range includes infant nutrition, coffee whitener, basic cocoa and cappuccino products, sweeteners, milk powder, and special products for the food industry.
It all starts with regional farmers, more precisely with the dairy cows of the approximately 100 contract farmers who supply Milchwerke Mittelelbe with more than a million liters of milk every day. The raw milk is processed in ultra-modern production facilities. Each of the 14 spray-drying towers produces infant nutrition, milk powder, milk derivatives, and other special powders. The powders produced from the milk are also used by other subsidiary companies of the KRÜGER GROUP. They can be found in products such as KRÜGER cappuccino, in K‑fee milk capsules, and as an ingredient in numerous chocolate products and infant nutrition.
